Silliman University Pathways Youth Group

Silliman Pathways Youth Group is an organization in Silliman University that aims to extend

 help to financially underprivileged but academically-gifted public high school students by 

increasing the possibility of continuing their tertiary education in a good university or college. 

It also aims to incite the spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility to its members and the 

surrounding school community. The members of the Silliman Pathways Youth Group consider 

Education Reform as the focus of its organizational purpose and operation.

2011 Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines

The “Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP)” for 2011 have been named. The TOSP Awards honors graduating college students who have not only excelled academically but also lived a life of dedicated service to the people that is distinctive from others in their respective fields of interests.

The TOSP is an awards and formation program established by businessman Jose Concepcion Jr., chairman of RFM Corp. and RFM Foundation, as “a way of encouraging the youth to act for national progress.”
